YASHBANS® The Story

Yashbans is the story of a young girl's dreams come true. "YASH" from her name "Yashodhara" and "BANS" from "Bangalore" , the city which has given shape to her dreams.

A passionate animal lover, who nurtured her love for animals from childhood and over the years, to eventually become one of India's most reputed Breeder of pedigreed dogs.

A Veterinary Assistant, an Animal Behaviorist and a trained professional Groomer,Yashodhra is perhaps the only woman handler/breeder in India to have handled so many different breeds, having many BEST IN SHOWS to her credit .

Yashbans came into existence in the year 1980 and soon became a household name when it came to pedigreed, top of the line dogs. Yashbans has bred two DOG OF THE YEARs and one RESERVE PUPPY OF THE YEAR, besides many Champions and Best In Show Line Up winners

Yashbans has laid its mark on every breed it has ventured into. Dobermanns, German Shepherds, Boxers, Rottweilers, Golden Retrievers, St.Bernards, Chows, Miniature Pinschers , Siberian Huskies and Pugs.

Some of the coveted awards won by Yashodhara are - the prestigious HINDU TROPHY for THE DOG OF THE YEAR, LAKSHMI TROPHY for THE BREEDER OF THE YEAR, the BHANDARI TROPHY for the RESERVE DOG OF THE YEAR.

And now, after 3 decades of acheivements , Yashodhara's two lovely daughters, Rishya and Radhiya take Yashbans to the next level.

YASHBANS , today, is a family owned and family run kennel .
Yashodhara, Rishya and Radhiya are personally involved in the care and maintenance of many dogs and other pets at the Yashbans Farm .

Besides housing some of India's highly pedigreed dogs, we are also a home to abandoned cats, homeless dogs, injured animals and other pets.

From new-born puppies and kittens to our Senior Champs for whom 'years' is just another day to show us more love !

Waking up to the woofs and meows , feeding , grooming, training, socializing and playing with every one of the them keeps all the members of Yashbans full of energy and spirit.

Our visitors range from serious SHOW HOMES to just the LOVABLE Family who is looking for a companion and a friend.

YASHBANS is also a get-away to those who just want to spend some time with our loving pets to get back loads of love in return.
