My daughters have been helping me groom my dogs to perfection since their childhood days , and often wondered why many pets kept by others were not in such a healthy condition. Also during one of their trips abroad, they happened to see some Pet grooming Parlours and being very artistic by nature, knew that they too can master the art of shaping dogs for shows and grooming them to perfection. They decided it would be a very viable profession and would also enable them to expand our already well established kennels, Yashbans. Since there were no professional Parlours at that time, they decided to be the first ones to capture the market, as as Poineers you are always the Leaders.. Being involved with dogs from their very early age itself, gave them that edge to understand the conformation of most breeds of dogs and what type of styling was required for each breed of dog. Also they understood that though people loved their dogs, many did not know how to groom their dogs correctly or simply because they heavy work schedules did not give them the time to groom their pet.

Fuzzy Wuzzy Pet Styling Studio and Spa just started off with basic grooming for pets. It was just regular baths, ear cleaning, nail trimming, blow drying and perfuming the pet. When people started realizing that a clean pet meant less of skin and coat problems, no cancur of the ears, no overgrown nails which were ingrowing into the dogs pads causing him excruciating pain, they soon started making it a regular visit.

Then we included the show grooming and skin treatments for dogs. Very averagely conformed dogs, with our expert hair styling and trimming, started having an edge at dog shows. People found our treatments for various skin diseases exceptional. We soon added the aroma therapy massages. Now ofcourse, grooming a pet has become a fashion statement, with kids wanting their dogs and cats to either have a lion cut or a puppy cut or a lamb cut or a punk style hair cut, or simply any styling that they can think of, and we deliver. They want their pets to be coloured in various styles too, like a pink tail or yellow ears, or green paws etc.

The number of clients seeking our seervices is growing day by day., simply by the results they see and by word of mouth. We used to do about two dogs a week if we were lucky in 2001 and today we do an average of 3-4 pets a day, as we only work from3.00 P.M. to 7.00 P.M daily. Five days a week.And that too, on prior appointment only. We do have more enquiries per day, but since we also have a well established Breeding Kennel and also Boarding Kennels, we have to devote our time there too.

Today it is not only a question of hygiene for their pets, but it is also because people want to pamper them with the best. People are slowly understanding the value of pets in their every day life and want to do their best in turn for them too.

The most sought after services in our FUZZY WUZZY PET STYLING STUDIO AND SPA is our various skin treatments, like anti fungal treatment or hair loss treatment. Hair styling for exotic breeds is our forte and many of the Expatriates who have come to Bangalore with exotic breeds are extremely pleased and often tell us we are better than many Pet Parlours in the West. Hair colouring is becoming an increasing demand from children.

It gives us great pride to inform that we get clients coming from places like Kerala, Tamil Nadu , Ahmedabad, quite regularly, traveling all the way to Bangalore just to get their pets groomed at our Parlour. Not only because they have a well groomed and squeky clean pet, but also because our method of handling pets without any sedation or anaesthetic but with lots of love and care makes their pets enjoy their sessions with us. Some of the pets which were quite bad tempered earlier and become such lovable darlings.

A basic grooming which is complete, for a puppy or kitten can start with as low as Rs.400/- which would tke about 20 minutes to 30 minutes. This would probably be the minimum time we spend with a pet for a complete groom . Show grooming can take three to four hours, and could cost as much as Rs.10,000/- depending on the type of hair trimming and styling that is required.. Sometimes , dogs and cats come so badly matted, with their hair fused to their skin, and this takes hours, and sometimes divided into two to three sittings, as the animal cannot have the patience to still quietly for more than three hours at a time.It becomes a back breaking job for us too.

Not everyone has the gift or talent to handle pehow much ever they may want to. Although basic grooming of pets can be done at hom, notrsed in the art of grooming a pet is going to give you a clean, beautiful pet without causing any discomfort or injury to your pet. But you haair, full of infection want us to make their pets look beautiful le show dogs. This condition makd too. When they cannot even hold their pets anymore for fear of being bitten they com,xpecting miracles in the shortest time.

Besides dogs and cats, the other pets which people usually have are exotic birds and ornamental Fish.. Few others, keep hamsters, Rabbits, and Guinea Pigs.

The most sought after accessories for pets are collars, belts, clothing, I.D. Tags, toys etc. For dogs, it is designer wear clothes, studded collars and necklaces, trims and bows, shoes,. For cats, it is Tiaras and necklaces with bells., play trees. For birds, it is colourful leg bands, swings, cages of all types, colours and sizes.. For Hamsters, exercise wheels and exercise ladders, small t-shirts.. For Fish, aquariums of all sizes and shapes, tank jewels and ornamental decorations.

3. Besides, the usual stuff for pets, we now get hair colours and conditioners, nail polishes, sanitary panties, puppy training pads, diapers, tiaras, designer wear clothes ,customized beds and waterproof beds, studded collars and necklaces and Tiaras.
